With the new series "Noir", the Swedish manufacturer Skeppshult has launched a new design form, which, in addition to its traditional appearance, now stands out very puristically minimally "in the eye". Not only was the visual appearance of a great leap, but by an even more elaborate production by hand than before and more work steps, the functional properties are also improved. Thus, for example, the castings are baked in three. The haptics of the handles, especially the feeder pan and the frying pan, have been given particular attention during the development, a design series has emerged, which is an absolute eye-catcher and at the same time fulfills the highest functional requirements. For this reason, hardly any of these pieces of jewelry in the kitchen cabinet will disappear after cooking, but will show them in a prominent place or serve the food as an optical highlight. The series consists of a round roasting pan with cast lid, a 28 cm frying pan, a high serving pan with cast lid also in 28 cm, a grill plate and a casserole.

Broberg & Ridderstråle - the Desingers of NOIR

NOIR was designed by the well-known Swedish architects and product designers Johan Ridderstråle and Mats Broberg. Ridderstråle and Broberg both studied at the College of Art Design and Design in Stockholm. After graduating in 2006, they founded their office in Stockholm. Products by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle speak directly emotionally. It is a concern of the agency to let its design communicate with the space, the users, the animated and uninhabited environment through its symbolism. The rational origin, the function, mediate effectively between past and present. Broberg and Ridderstråle won numerous design awards, including the Wallpaper Design Award and the Good Design Award. In 2006 they were selected by the Swedish residence magazine as designers of the year.
